The worthy Triqui people
Comrades,
Triqui women of San Juan Copala turn to you because we know our voice through the pain that the powerful impose themselves as the fate of the natives of this country. Today we also want to tell these people the money that we rebel, we get up and courageous statement: Let the world know that the natives in this country are in resistance, because the misrule slave obeys the order of big business and has decided to make disappear our peoples to steal the natural wealth that we have lovingly preserved for centuries for the sake of humanity, because this is the real reason for the ethnic violence that we experience today. Triqui, which is why those buildings come criminal orders from the government to attack with powerful weapons, not considering that we are mostly women victims.
We women of Copala are most affected by violence, as well as being wives, sisters, daughters, mothers, that we go through the woods on foot for hours to find food so that our people will not die of hunger, which is why we want to tell all the humble and simple people of this country and especially to the brave women of Oaxaca that women of ethnic Triqui have decided to take to the streets to ask for your solidarity, as indigenous and as women our pain is double and the bad government instead of doing justice is the one who gives the order to slaughter us because we are resisting the side of our comrades.
Only from 27 April to today (August 11), 38 women have been attacked for trying to defend our freedom to govern according to our history and our culture, but we also know that many women were attacked throughout the region with the pretext of internal conflicts and ethnic Triqui women were converted into spoils of war to this day we cry enough.
A voice that comes across our region and especially to the heart of our Triqui sisters, because we have in our hearts the desire to take the destiny of our peoples in our hands, because we are that with our love and our love can free our people from alien hands, which without knowing our history, have devoted decades to trample our dignity and we must deenounce with no uncertain terms, we say that the natives did not know their origins deny their history as they are corrupted by those who want to put 'against each other to their services become assassins, thugs massacre our people. This was demonstrated when under the false pretext that a paramilitary leader has been killed in our community, hundreds of policemen entered in our municipality of San Juan Copala, then why this was not considered dangerous for us? Because the height of cynicism were these policemen under the command of Jorge Quezada, to occupy the town hall to give it in the hands of the paramilitary organization of the UBISORT and bullets were police and paramilitaries, which have severely hurt our fellow Selena and Adele 14 and 17 years.
Today, in response to multiple attacks permanent garrison to this square and we do not withdraw until the conditions to continue to live together with our comrades who were turned away from our people occupy this square and ask the support of fellow different charities and we also ask that the organizations of human rights non-official also observed that happens here because we believe that the suppression of bad governance may also come into this place.
We will inform in an ongoing and permanent all that will happen to our people and our region and we'll be here until the criminals are arrested and who sow terror in our streets of San Juan Copala will be able to walk freely.
They are afraid of us because we are not afraid.
