remembering Piero Milesi
That good giant thet isn't any more
by Paolo Finzi
Composer, arranger, musician, was best known for working with Fabrizio De Andre in lp "Nuvole" and "Anime salve". For us it was first a friend, a coworker, a friend, a real gentleman anarchist.

DSunday, October 30, the hospital of Levanto, died of a heart attack Piero Milesi. The funeral was held in the Ligurian town, not far from Mattarana where for years he had gone to live. At the funeral, hundreds of people present some of the most different (like "cross" were his world and his circle of friends), they talked Don Andrea Gallo, Don Paul Cross, the niece Anna, who read a memory and its of his cousins, and Charles White, and Moni Ovadia, the latter of whom also sang a verse of a psalm Bible (in Hebrew) on the violin accompanied by Maurizio Dehò.
